Energy Rooftop-Solar Energy Rooftop

The ‘Solar Energy Rooftop-Solar Energy Rooftop’ scheme implemented by the State Government for the household power consumers-residential category power consumers of the State.
 Gujarat has launched the Solar Energy Rooftop Scheme, a leading initiative for environmental protection and renewable energy production from green energy-clean energy.

 The state government has allocated Rs.  Allocated a budget of Rs.1000 crore

 Ordinary human beings will now be able to become power producers along with power consumers

 2 lakh families in the state will be covered under the solar rooftop scheme this year

 Generate solar energy and sell extra electricity ...

 Under this solar rooftop scheme, the household electricity user will be able to generate solar energy in the attic of his house or in the open space owned by him.

 By using or using enough electricity from this solar energy, the state government will get additional electricity at a cost of Rs.  It will also be able to get relief in electricity bill and additional income by selling at a rate of Rs 2.25 per unit with a 25-year contract.
 Residential power consumers will get 40 per cent subsidy on the price fixed for the first 3 kW capacity for solar rooftops, followed by 20 per cent subsidy on solar rooftops up to a capacity of 3 kW and up to 10 kW.

 Gujarat ranks first in the country in solar rooftops with an installed capacity of 326.67 MW as on March 31, 2019.

 The Gujarat Solar Rooftop Scheme will be at the forefront in the Prime Minister's determination of such power generation capacity of 1 lakh 75 thousand MW by 2022.

 How to avail the scheme?

 To avail this scheme, the power consumer will be able to install a solar system of any capacity and will not be subject to the agreed power load limit.

 To take advantage of this solar energy rooftop scheme, electricity consumers will have to choose from one of the approved agencies.  Then all the action has to be done by the agency.

 To register the application, the electricity customer is required to provide the last electricity bill, photo of the applicant, Aadhaar number and mobile phone number of the customer.
 The customer will have to pay the amount as per the price fixed by the tender.  Apart from this the customer does not have to pay any other amount

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in a press conference today that the government has decided to extend the duration of the subsidy-linked home loan scheme (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) for one year. The credit linked subsidy scheme was introduced by the government in 2017 and ended in March 2020. Now the date has been extended to March 2021. The benefit of this scheme will be available to people whose annual income is between Rs 6 lakh to Rs 18 lakh.
The scheme has so far benefited 3.3 lakh people. The government hopes that extending the scheme date will benefit more than 2.5 lakh people. The finance minister said this would lead to an investment of about Rs 70,000 crore in the housing sector, which would create employment opportunities as demand for steel, iron and other construction materials would increase.
What is a CLSS scheme?
Through this scheme, the government's efforts are to provide housing to the urban poor. There are two categories of Middle Income Group (MIG) with an annual income of Rs 6-12 lakh. It falls in the MIG-1 category and those whose annual income is between Rs 12-18 lakh are in the MIG-2 category. Under the credit linked subsidy scheme, people of both the categories get interest subsidy. The MIG-1 category can avail interest subsidy on home loans up to Rs 9 lakh. The interest subsidy is 4 per cent. The term of the loan will be up to 20 years.

MIG-2 category people can avail interest subsidy on home loans up to Rs 12 lakh. Interest subsidy is 3%. The term of the loan will be up to 20 years. Today, the Finance Minister informed about the second part of the Self-Reliant India Package. This includes all advertisements especially for farmers and migrant laborers. He has announced loans for 50 lakh peddlers. A special credit facility of Rs 5,000 crore has been arranged for them. Initially, the working capital will be around Rs 10,000 which can be used to start a business.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) Mission launched on 25th June 2015 which intends to provide housing for all in urban areas by the year 2022. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) or Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) is a nation-wide campaign in India for the period 2014 to 2019 that aims to clean up the streets, roads and infrastructure of India's cities, towns, and rural areas. The campaign's official name is in Hindi and translates to "Clean India Mission" in English. The objectives of Swachh Bharat include eliminating open defecation through the construction of household-owned and community-owned toilets and establishing an accountable mechanism of monitoring toilet use.

The mission will also contribute to India reaching Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6), established by the UN in 2015.

The campaign was officially launched on 2 October 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is India's largest cleanliness drive to date with three million government employees and students from all parts of India participating in 4,043 cities, towns, and rural areas. Modi has called the campaign Satyagrah se Swachhagrah in reference to Gandhi's Champaran Satyagraha launched on 10 April 1917.

The mission has two thrusts: Swachh Bharat Abhiyan ("gramin" or 'rural'), which operates under the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation; and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan ('urban'), which operates under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
As part of the campaign, volunteers, known as Swachhagrahis, or "Ambassadors of cleanliness", have promoted indoor plumbing and community approaches to sanitation (CAS) at the village level. Other non-governmental activities include national real-time monitoring and updates from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as The Ugly Indian, Waste Warriors, and SWaCH Pune (Solid Waste Collection and Handling) that are working towards its ideas of Swachh Bharat.
