 Consider starting school by August

The declining case is being considered by the government

In the cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of CM Rupani, there was a serious discussion about starting education work in the schools of Gujarat.

A decision can be taken in the next 2 months

Sources also said that the state government is in a positive mood to start schools as Korona's case is declining and a decision has been taken to start school work in the next two months.  It was also discussed in today's meeting that guidelines for starting offline educational work would also be prepared.

 Corona status in Gujarat

The state has registered 135 new cases in the last 24 hours while the recovery rate of the state has reached 98.15 per cent as 612 patients have contracted the virus.  3 patients have died in the last 24 hours in the state.

An overview of the Corona situation in the state

In Gujarat, the number of active cases has come down to 5159 due to the declining number of cases of corona virus, out of which 86 patients are on ventilators.  The total death toll due to Corona virus in the state has reached 10037.

The highest number of cases in Ahmedabad

Out of 135 cases in Gujarat, the highest number of cases have been reported in Ahmedabad city, 30 in Ahmedabad city and 14 in Surat city.  10 cases have been reported in Rajkot city while 8 cases have been reported in Vadodara city.

Night curfew times can also be reduced

Corona cases have been steadily declining in the state.  Due to this, many economic activities are being relaxed by the state government.  The traders of Vadodara then demanded a reduction in the time of night curfew.  The traders said that if the night curfew was reduced, it would be a relief for them to resume their business.  It is to be mentioned that the business employment of traders has been severely affected due to Corona for a long time.

 Corona status in the country

Although the second wave of corona in India is weakening, India has reached the second position in the world in terms of transition after the United States. The number of transitions in India has crossed 3 crores.  And 1 crore cases of transition have been reported in the last 50 days.

To avail the facility of deposit fund under APS
One more piece of good news has come to the central employees that the staff is covered under NPS now the government is giving this new facility.  The central government said that in case of death of such employees while on the job, their families would have two options, first to avail the old pension plan or to avail the facility of deposit fund under NPS.

The employee must state the choice in survival
The Central Government has announced to provide this facility under Rule 10 of CCS Rules 2021.  According to the rule, in case of death of a government employee, his family will get this facility.  However, the benefit of this scheme will be available only if the employee has to make a choice in life.

This is good news for the staff of Navodaya Vidyalaya.  A circular issued by the education department said that the medical allowance of the principals of Navodaya Vidyalaya has been increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000.

When will you get increased medical allowance?
Central employees will get this benefit when they are treated at a government hospital or a hospital designated by the central government.  Medical allowances can be availed when an employee or a member of their family falls ill.

After July 1, the dearness allowance of employees will increase from 17 per cent to 28 per cent.  Employees will receive a two-year inflation allowance directly.  The central government will issue 3 installments of inflation allowance.

The increase will occur after 18 months
Employee DA will increase after about 18 months.  Employee DA was suspended last year because of Corona.  In January 2020, the DA was increased by 4%.  This was followed by an increase of 3% in the second half of June 2020.  Now in January 2021, it has increased by 4%, which means a total increase of 28%

How much will your salary increase? The minimum salary as per the pay scale is Rs 18000. It is likely to add 15 per cent inflation allowance.  That means you can get an increase of Rs 2700 per month and your salary will increase by Rs 32400 per year.

Inflation allowance can be up to 32 per cent in a short time
It may be mentioned that the inflation allowance for June 2021 is to be announced.  Could rise to 4 percent, according to sources.  If this happens, 4 per cent will be paid in the next six months after payment in 3 installments from July 1, after which the dearness allowance of the employees may increase to 32 per cent.

Std-10 students can get relief from maths-Science

Std-10 students can get relief from maths-Science - two new subjects may come

Recommendations have been sent to the government for implementation from the new session by a task force formed to implement the new education policy in the state. English subject can be taught from standard 1.

Students studying in standard 10 in the state can be exempted from teaching mathematics and science subjects. The task force set up to implement the new education policy has sent its recommendations to the government. For students who do not want to go into science stream after standard 10, it is recommended to include subjects like arithmetic and anthropology which are useful in daily life instead of mathematics and science. In addition, after completing 5 years, the student is given admission in standard 1. But now after the age of 5 the child will be admitted to the kindergarten. For this, a kindergarten will be set up in the primary school premises.
Std-10 students can get relief from maths-Science
According to a local newspaper report, a task force has been constituted at the state level with regard to National Education Policy 2020. Jenny had a meeting recently. The decisions taken by the state level were discussed in the meeting. At the end of the discussion, the task force agreed on the implementation decisions from the academic year 2021-22. In which the current structure of education of 10 + 2 has been changed and a new structure of 5 + 3 + 3 + 4 has been recommended.

According to the new structure, the first 5 years include 3 years of pre-primary and standard 1-2. The next three years are from Std. 3 to 5 followed by three years from Std. 6 to 8 and finally four years from Std. 9 to 12. The first five years will be two years of Anganwadi-Pre-Primary. The next one year i.e. when the child is five years old will study in kindergarten and after that 2 years will study in standard 1 and 2. Thus, the child will get admission in the first standard when he / she becomes 6 years old. It is also recommended that kindergartens should be set up on the school premises as part of the primary school. Kindergarten children will be given activities like Pragya approach like Std. 1 and 2.

Std-10 students can get relief from maths-Science
Mathematics and science subjects are compulsory in the curriculum for students at the secondary level in the state at present. But after completing this course at the end of standard 10, most of the students turn to general stream as well as vocational stream apart from science stream. Maths as well as science are not particularly useful for further studies for these students. Therefore, for students who want to pursue a course other than the science stream, it is recommended to add subjects like arithmetic as well as anthropology which are useful in daily life as an alternative to mathematics and science at the secondary level.
Std-10 students can get relief from maths-Science
Gujarati and Mathematics are currently taught as standard language in Std. 1 in the state. However, according to the implementation of the trilingual formula, English subject will be introduced along with Gujarati language in Std. English language taught during standard 1 to 3 which will not be a part of that standard examination. English examination will also be taken along with other subjects from standard 4.

At the end of standard 3, 5 and 8, for children, like standard 10 and 12, examinations will have to be organized by the state level. Accordingly, the responsibility of conducting examinations at the end of Std. 3, 5 and 8 has been given to the State Examination Board under the coordination of GCERT as well as Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. As per the resolution of the education department, all government and private school students will take part in this examination.

As per the provision of Right to Education, if the number is less than 60 and there is a school of standard 1 to 5, it should be merged with the school of standard 1 to 5 with a larger number within a radius of 1 km. Merge to have standard 6 to 8 running and number 45 as well as number of schools within a radius of 3 km. At the time of the merger, keep in mind that the school cannot be merged if the highway passes or if there is a river
