NMMS Scholarship 2021-2022

NMMS Scholarship 2021-2022
The maximum NMMS Scholarship 2021-2022 amount is Rupees 12,000/- per year. The scholarship is provided annually to the students of class 9th studying in a government – aided or wholly government or local body school.

State Examination Board, Gandhinagar has released the application form online at sebexam.org. National Means cum Merit Scholarship Exam will be conducted for Gujarat on 28 Feb 2021. The students who have secured the position in the merit list released by the admission authority will onlbe able to get admission. Students who have studied in class VII will be considered or eligible for the exam. For more information regarding  Gujarat NMMS 2020-2021 candidates read this page further.

The entrance exam which is going to be conducted in the month of February, is a state level exam. Candidates can check Gujarat NMMS 2020-2021 Exam date from the schedule provided below.

 The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Gandhinagar states in a press release that the State Government had announced to conduct the board's public examination of regular, repeater, private and separate candidates of Std-12 from 01/06/2021  Considering the situation, the decision to postpone those examinations was taken on 05/06/2021.

 Assessing the current Corona transition situation, the State Government has decided to conduct examinations for Std-10 and Std-12 repeater, private and separate candidates in view of the declining transition situation.  In pursuance of which, Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar will conduct examination of Std-10 and Std-12 science stream and general stream repeater, private and separate candidates from Thursday 19/06/2071.  The detailed schedule of the examination will be announced later.

 The school principals will have to inform the repeaters of Std-10 and Std-12, private and separate candidates and their parents.

Registration for NMMS exam for the current year has started from 18/11/2020 on SEB's website. But compared to last year, the registration of NMMS students has been much less in the current situation. In this examination in the current academic year in Std-9 in government primary schools, district panchayat in local body schools. Students studying in Municipal / Municipal School) and Granted Primary Schools can appear for the NMMS.

So through you, your District Education Inspector, Taluka Primary Education Officer, Assistant Govt. Registration for NMMS exam is on till 19/12/2029 and the date of the exam is: 28/02/2021.


But due to the current Covid-19 massacre, the parents of the students are having difficulty in getting the caste as well as income certificates mentioned in the reference declaration. Such representations have been received at the State Examination Board. In view of this, please consider the following changes.

Certificate of income: - Certificate of income of Mamlatdar Shri, Taluka Development Officer Shri, Talati cum Minister Shri, Member of Parliament, MLA, MLA, Chief Counselor, Chief Officer as well as Sarpanch Shri will be valid.

Certificate regarding caste: - Registered (with outgoing number as well as photo) bona fide of Mamlatdar, Taluka Development Officer or school principal will be valid. In which the sub-caste of the student should be mentioned. - The principal of the school whose student falls within the fixed income limit and fixed caste category and TPEO Mr. will have to check.

Gujarat ranks second only to Delhi among all the states of India (except Union Territories) in providing schools up to standard seven. 

There are 16,662 villages in Gujarat with a population of 500 or more. Out of which 92.30% of the villages have been provided with the facility of primary schools consisting of standard: 5 to 7 in an area up to 3 km from the residential area. In the field of pre-primary education, Gujarat has a total of 19,672 kindergarten-anganwadi institutes for imparting pre-primary education in Gujarat, out of which 2,247 kindergarten anganwadis are located in rural areas.
