Advertisement regarding admission in Adarsh Residential Schools for the year 2022-2023
Ideal residential schools (with secondary / higher secondary curriculum) are functioning in the state of Gujarat for the purpose of providing better education to the bright students of socially and educationally backward classes in secondary as well as higher secondary level. List of schools is available on 33 www.esamnikalvan.gujarat.gov.in. All facilities like education, meals, uniforms, boot-socks, stationery and accommodation are provided to the students free of cost in these schools.
For admission in these ideal residential schools for the current academic year 206-9, new students wanting to get admission in Std. Applications are invited online from 303 to 10/2/207.
1. New students in Std. 8, 10 and 12 in Adarsh residential schools will have to apply online for admission. The required certificates along with the application will also have to be uploaded online.
2, Old students of Std. 9, Std. 10 and Std. 11 who were studying in that ideal residential school last year were given admission in Std. 10, Std. 11 and Std. 12 in the current year. New students who apply online for admission in Std. 9, 10 and Std. 12 will be given admission according to merit.

4. 5. A student applying for admission must have obtained at least 50% marks in last year's annual examination. In case of girls, students who get 5% or more marks can apply.

In an ideal residential school, considering the capacity of the building, 20% seats are allotted for socially and educationally backward class, 15% for economically backward class, 12.5% for Scheduled Caste, and 12.5% for Scheduled Tribe. In addition, 5% of the total capacity of the building will be reserved for the disabled. Priority will be given to 10% of the recognized number of students belonging to the most backward / nomadic and deprived castes among the socially and educationally backward classes.

11. Provisional merit list for admission as well as other instructions will be published online. For which the student has to visit the said website from time to time. Students placed in the Provisional Merit List will be informed about the verification of certificates through SMS and E-mail.
12 With the publication of the online provisional merit list, the students on the merit list will have to verify the original certificates at the respective Adarsh Residential School. Applicants will not be admitted if there is a discrepancy between the percentage of examination marks filled in the online form of the applicant and the percentage of the original marksheet and the qualification or other certificates.
Admission will be given to the students keeping in view the capacity of 13 school buildings as well as the rules laid down by the Government's Health Department, Education Department and the Government.
