Friends, we all know that on January 26, 1950, India became a republic. Do you know what it means to be a republic? Have you heard the name Constitution of India? Have you read the basic duties given at the beginning of your textbook? From what is it taken? The answer is the Constitution of India. The Constitution came into force on 26 January 1950 and India became a republic. The Constitution of India is the largest written constitution in the world. Last year when there was a fair in your village, you felt like going to the fair.
Your mom took you to the fair twice. Now if you want to see the fair fee you told mom that you will see it standing from the yard wall of the house. So mom said good. Now your younger brother also said that he also wants to see the fair. Now your mom gives you and your little brother two tables of the same height or gives you both tables according to your height? What should he do? Below are these two pictures which one do you think is more appropriate? Think which of the two has the same opportunity to see both? In the same way, all people living in the country should have equal opportunities to study, get employment, develop, live life, etc., irrespective of their religion or caste. So what are the similarities between the two?
