As you can tell, online transactions are using NEFT and RTGS.  Both of these systems are maintained by RBI.  Money can be exchanged through bank branch or internet and mobile banking through both these services.  At present, money can be exchanged on all working days from 8am to 7pm.
NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer is a system for transferring funds through banks in other countries or sending money in other ways. With it, anyone can send money to that company.
