Gandhinagar: Today, the Government of Gujarat has given Diwali Gift to employees of Gujarat ST department on fixed pay. Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel today announced a hike in salaries with immediate effect to the employees of the ST department on fixed wages. The salary of the driver cum conductor was increased from 11 thousand to 18 thousand. The state government approved the proposal of the Department of Transportation. As a result of the salary increase, the ST corporation will earn Rs. 94 crore would be the burden.
